Gerardo Trevino

Technical Leader
Gerardo Trevino is a Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).

Gerardo Trevino joined EPRI in September 2017 as a Technical Leader in the Cyber Security Program. With over 8 years of applied research experience he brings a combined skill set in embedded systems, cyber security and energy systems to EPRI’s Power Delivery & Utilization sector research.

He began his career at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a graduate researcher and subsequently at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) using embedded systems expertise to develop and improve technologies and assess system security for commercial and government clients.

Gerardo received an Undergraduate and Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
